In order that the Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group may better achieve its purpose, the following Canons of Conduct are adopted and shall govern the conduct of all members in connection with all Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group matters and activities.
All representatives member installations:
- Must conduct themselves and their activities in a professional manner marked by integrity and a spirit of fair play.
- Must refrain from engaging in any activity which would violate the proprietary rights of their employers, Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group, or any other person or organization.
- Must abide by the By-laws and policies of Baltimore/ Washington DB2 Users' Group.
- Must properly register at Baltimore/Washington DB2 User's Group activities.
- Must not engage in sales activity, including direct or indirect solicitation, or conduct any other activity contrary to the purposes or policies of Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group at any meeting or Users' Group activities.
- Must not distribute any materials or post displays of any kind at activities without prior approval of the Chairperson.
- Must not engage in any form or personnel recruiting at activity meetings or using Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group resources.
- Must not use Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group name other than in the conduct of Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group business as determined by the Board of Directors.
- Must not use the Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group membership list or any part thereof except in the conduct of Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group business as determined by the Board of Directors.
- Must restrict the use of Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group documents and other data to the purposes defined in the By-laws and as authorized by the Board of Directors or the Baltimore/Washington DB2 Users' Group policies.
